Benoit Delaveau

Benoit has dedicated his life to the art of Photography. Practicing his passion, he had worked in many areas involved with imaging, alternately as a photographer and a photo technologist consultant.
He has published hundreds of technical articles in the French photographic press about the usage of digital photography and the ways to improve the results with this technology.

Human Impact” photo serie

The new serie "Human Footsteps" is a tribute to show how humanity has shaped the environment for the better or... the worse. Benoit uses an improved version of a cutting edge digital technology called Gigapan whose principle is to enhance the image definition by stitching 20 to 50 digital shots.
Benoit uses the best German lenses (Carl Zeiss and Leica) mounted on the latest Nikon digital SLR to push the boundaries of today's technology. The definition is stunning, even when the prints are enlarged to cover a wall. Then, the audience is surounded by the image, building on the provocing effects of the human invasion of Earth.
